Membership
Membership at Townhouse is simple: just £10 a year, whoever you are, paid in cash directly at the venue. The path to obtain membership works differently depending on which of our memberships you’re after, so take a look below.
Fluent English is required too, so everyone can set and understand boundaries clearly and safely.
How Membership Works
- £10 annual fee, paid in cash when you join or renew.
- Aim to arrive before 9.30pm on your first visit.
- You’ll need to bring valid ID to join - either printed or on your phone.
- We check you in with a quick thumbprint scan, so there’s no card to lose.
- £10 cash deposit on arrival, which goes straight onto your bar tab.
- Book tickets through this website - tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Couples, Ladies & Gender-Diverse Guests
Membership is open to couples of all genders - whether you’re straight, queer or anywhere in between, there’s a place for you here. We also welcome solo ladies, non-binary guests, and trans women. You can join on your first visit, and your membership lasts one year from that date.
- Couples
- Solo Ladies
- Non-Binary
- Trans Women
- Genderfluid
Single Guys
Single guy memberships are open again, but we’re careful about who gets one. Gaining a membership has nothing to do with looks - it’s about how you treat our staff, other guests, and our venue. There are no separate memberships for trans men; you are considered for a single guy membership in the same way.
- 01
Come along to an event as a non-member guest - that’s how everyone starts.
- 02
Our team gets to know you over your first few visits, based on attitude, not appearance. Six visits within six months without incident is the minimum required.
- 03
If it’s a good fit both ways, you’ll be invited to apply for membership.
Be sociable rather than clingy, take rejection gracefully the first time it’s given, and never touch or corner someone without an invitation. Behaviour like this gets memberships revoked!
