BDSM MICROBRANDING

A practical introduction to MICROBRANDING & decorative skin branding - MORNING 0R AFTERNOON OPTION

Curious about branding, but want to explore the precision and creativity of microbranding?

This three-hour practical School of Kink workshop introduces BDSM branding before taking a much deeper look at microbranding, also known as cell popping, creating individual controlled thermal injuries that can be combined to form permanent or semi-permanent patterns in the skin.

This is a hands-on class combining theory, demonstration, safety and supervised practice.

We'll explore:

  • Different forms of body branding and how they differ

  • What actually happens to skin when it is branded

  • Microbranding/cell popping techniques and design principles

  • Choosing and preparing an appropriate area of skin

  • Infection prevention and aseptic technique

  • Equipment preparation and safe handling

  • Consent, negotiation and risk awareness

  • Understanding burns and avoiding unintended deeper injury

  • How individual skin and healing can change the finished result

  • Immediate wound care and ongoing aftercare

  • Infection and other complications: what to look for and when to seek medical advice

  • Hypertrophic and keloid scarring

  • Long-term scar development and the unpredictability of branding

I'll demonstrate the process before guiding each pair through their first microbranding step by step.

Students must attend in pairs, as you'll be working with your partner under supervision.

Students will also receive their own microbranding/soldering iron kit to take home - 1 PER PAIR (you can upgrade to purchase 1 each), along with detailed student packs, consent templates, aftercare notes and design transfer sheets.

This is permanent body modification involving deliberate thermal injury. The class places a strong emphasis on informed consent, hygiene, risk reduction and responsible practice.

Duration: 3 hours - EITHER morning session 10am - 1pm or afternoon session 2pm - 5pm

Format: Theory • Demonstration • Supervised practical

Excited? I am!

THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT, NOT A TOWNHOUSE EVENT, SO ALL ENQUIRIES SHOULD BE MADE VIA THE 'CONTACT THE HOST' OPTION AND NOT DIRECTED TO TOWNHOUSE. YOU CAN ALSO REACH ME AT 'CAROLINESDUNGEON' ON FETLIFE.

Additional notes -

At least one person in the pair must be prepared to be microbranded, even just a little!

If you would like a branding kit each (2 kits), please book the 'plus extra branding kit' option, otherwise, you will only receive one on the day.

As I am hiring the venue and have an outlay, I cannot issue refunds under ANY circumstances, so please be 100% certain you can attend. If your partner is ill on the day, but you have a replacement, I may consider them stepping in. However, this MUST be pre approved. If your partner cannot attend, you can still come along as you will still benefit, but no refunds will be given.

This class is most beneficial to pairs where both want to learn microbranding as practitioners and not a practitioner/'model' team, although this dynamic is absolutely fine.

If you have experienced keloid scarring, have blood disorders, diabetes or previous skin healing issues, you cannot be branded.

Microbranding results differ to each person and you MUST be aware that brands can be temporary, semi permanent or permanent.

This is a serious, in depth workshop and must not be undertaken lightly, however, you will be handheld throughout and walk away with everything you need to feel confident and excited to practice further!

You will be briefed before the day on what you need to bring and how to prepare, along with some pre class notes to look over and get familiar with the basics.

As this is a private event, you do not need to be a member of Townhouse, but you will need ID to confirm the name on your ticket and that you are over 18.

I ask that you help the club a little and buy your soft drinks from the well stocked bar; you will need a £10 cash bar tab deposit, which is offset against your final bill.
