Once the main floor erupts, the energy spreads through every level of Townhouse. After 10:30pm, the upper floors transform into a dress-down, headbanging haven where leather, lace, and studs rule the night.

Amped is a swinging rock and metal night. An event for the noise lovers and misfits.
In short no, there isn’t space to safely kink at amped so it’s a swing only event.
As with all Townhouse events, the door is open to anyone that would like to come along, no matter the sex, size, orientation etc. Everyone is welcome to come rock with us!
Absolutely, Townhouse is an amazing place to make new connections so you won’t be on your own for very long.
As a general rule of thumb, if you’d wear it to see your favourite band live, then it will work for amped. Think band tee’s, battle jackets, short skirts and big stompy boots but don’t forget that all important dress down for adventures upstairs after 10:30.
We book bands for 2 x 45 minute sets, the first set normally starts at 9:30 to allow any newbies to get in and have a tour with one of our buddies, then the second set is scheduled for a 10:30 start.
As a general rule, no. Photos are not allowed in the club. Although, we offer a designated area/time, where you can snap some selfies of you and your friends in your outfits. See us at the event for more details, or check the event description.
First things first, bring your ID! (drivers license, or passport with a proof of address) Then you need £10 cash, for your locker deposit.
There are zero expectations for you to play! You are welcome to just come along, watch the band and have a social night out around people in their undies. We do not expect you to dress down, unless you are going upstairs after 1030.
